Pre-Season Information & Orientation Session, offered both in person and online, was a wonderful success.

We were especially encouraged by the strong support received from families across the country, including participants joining us from the coast and Oranjemund. For a first attempt at offering the session online, the response exceeded expectations and highlighted the strength and reach of our swimming community.

The session sparked great engagement and discussion, and it was encouraging to welcome what appears to be a fresh, enthusiastic, and committed group of parents into the sport. Parent involvement remains one of the cornerstones of a successful swimming environment, and it was wonderful to see so many families eager to become part of the journey.

A sincere thank you to Marlins Aquatic Club (MAC) for making their venue available and for being such exceptional hosts. The venue proved to be the perfect setting for this initiative and provided a welcoming environment for both new and returning swimming families.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Swimming Technical Officials Sub-Committee for their hard work in arranging, coordinating, and hosting the session. Their commitment to educating and supporting our swimming families played a significant role in the success of the evening.

Most importantly, thank you to all the parents and guardians who took the time to attend, ask questions, and engage with the process. Your willingness to learn and become involved is invaluable to the continued growth and success of our sport.

We look forward to building on this momentum throughout the season ahead.
